The newest neighborhood planned by EYA was recently recognized by the Washington Smart Growth Alliance as a Smart Growth Project Proposal.

Near Catholic University and the Brookland Metro station, EYA will be constructing new rowhomes at St. Paul's College and Seminary. New homes will be designed to complement the existing architecture in an effort to preserve the distinctive history and character of the neighborhood.

The development at St. Paul's was selected for recognition by the Alliance for its proximity to Metro, inclusion of affordable housing, historic design, and environmental sensitivity. The new neighborhood will also be representative of life within walking distance™, providing residents with easy access to transportation, shopping, dining, and entertainment. EYA is expected to begin sales in the community in 2009.
