For over 30 years, EYA has understood the benefits of townhome living and has built more than 6,000 new townhomes across the greater Washington D.C. area. We are pleased to announce that The Laureate has been awarded the 2024 Jack Kemp Award for Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing. Presented by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Terwilliger Center for Housing, this national award recognizes exemplary developments that demonstrate innovation and creativity in expanding affordable and workforce housing opportunities.

The EYA Foundation held its annual Day of Service, partnering with the Salvation Army to help them prepare for their Angel Tree event. Angel Tree is the Salvation Army’s largest annual event which provides Christmas gifts for children. Over 40 EYA employees volunteered at their warehouse helping to sort gifts, prepare gift tags, assemble bikes and stage the warehouse—two weeks worth of work accomplished in one day!
