Thanks to the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail, here are a few of the highlights along the way:

This month, the City of Alexandria will celebrate its 265th birthday! Join in the festivities on Saturday, July 12th along the Potomac waterfront at Oronoco Bay Park. Bring a blanket and picnic and pick a prime spot on the lawn to enjoy live music, fireworks and more. The event kicks off at 7:00 pm with a live band, followed by birthday cake and the grand finale fireworks display at 9:30 pm! Admission is free.

Every year, thousands of people visit DC to celebrate Independence Day in the Nation’s capital. The city hosts many fun events for the whole family to enjoy, including parades, concerts and spectacular fireworks over the National Mall. Here are a few ideas to kick off your celebrations.

The Washington Post’s 2014 Top Workplaces have been released, and EYA is one of them! We ranked #5 out of the 80 small companies (50-150 employees) included on the list.
