Clear your calendars for early June as the annual DC Jazz Festival brings various music stylings to a neighborhood near you. From June 1st through 10th, more than 100 jazz performances will fill the city with music. Concerts are scheduled to take place at a variety of locations, ranging from restaurants and hotels, to museums and clubs. Not only does the festival highlight famous musicians from around the world, it also introduces up-and-coming artists.

Tomorrow, May 18th, over 10,000 Metro area commuters will ditch their cars and bike to work for DC’s annual Bike to Work Day. Bike to Work Day is part of a national movement to get cars off the road and provide a healthy and safe alternative for commuters. Not only is biking good for your health, but by not driving to work you are reducing carbon emissions and helping the environment, something that is especially important to us here at EYA.
