This year marks a big milestone for EYA as the company is celebrating 30 years of creating distinctive new neighborhoods across the greater Washington area. Since 1992, EYA and its affiliated development companies have been building new homes that celebrate the best of modern design and urban lifestyles. We have welcomed more than 7,000 homeowners to over 45 new neighborhoods across Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia where our residents enjoy the best of life within walking distance®.
In celebration of this milestone, EYA hosted a special event where the team gathered with our greater EYA family, including longtime partners, investors, vendors and contractors, to recognize their important contributions to the company's success. EYA President & CEO McLean Quinn stated, "We could not do what we do without the contributions of each of you. We are so fortunate to work with a group of such talented, hardworking people and we look forward to working together for many years to come."
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed music from two incredible New Orleans bands, Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band and Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs, and were introduced to EYA's expanded leadership team.
For 30 years, EYA's visionary leadership team has successfully led the company to create innovative, lifestyle-friendly, urban neighborhoods that continue to be in high demand. The addition of EYA's next generation of leaders to the management team will ensure the success of the company for years to come.
McLean noted, "Our pipeline of projects is stronger than it has ever been, and we have the right team in place to successfully lead us into the future."
Throughout the coming year, EYA will celebrate its 30th anniversary with various special initiatives and events via the EYA Foundation. At EYA it is often said that while homebuilding is the primary thing we do, building sustainable neighborhoods is what we love. And we look forward to the next 30 years of creating innovative urban neighborhoods that positively impact individuals and communities throughout the greater Washington area.
