We are excited to announce that EYA has been named a 2024 Top Workplace by The Washington Post! As a company, we are especially thrilled with this honor as selection is based solely on employee feedback and satisfaction. Feedback is gathered through an anonymous third-party survey in categories ranging from workplace culture and connection to employee development and innovation. We are proud that our employees enjoy the work they do, feel valued and appreciated, and have a strong sense of camaraderie and connection with each other.
In a recent company meeting where the award was announced, EYA President & CEO, McLean Quinn, said: “We should all take great pride in the Top Workplaces recognition because it reflects the organizational culture we create and sustain together. We are a team that strives for excellence while caring deeply about one another, and this award celebrates the way we live those values.”

The most rewarding aspect of my job has been helping homebuyers make selections that they love and getting them excited about their new home!
What attracted you to EYA and how has your experience matched your expectations?
I initially found out about EYA when I was working at a civil engineering firm and got the chance to help on a couple of EYA projects (Reston Station and Sutton Heights). I got to experience firsthand the quality product EYA puts forward and how detailed the design and decision-making process is. I was really drawn to the mission of creating walkable communities and creating denser neighborhoods in areas where I could see myself living. It's been exciting to hear about the upcoming projects we have in the pipeline and the new communities we will be creating.

One of the highlights so far has been seeing Reston Station come to life. This was one of the projects I helped on during my time at VIKA and now I get to help push it across the finish line.
