Then take a stroll through the quaint Old Town streets or get in your early workout at the state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the Potomac River. Meet friends in the evening at the outdoor restaurant on the pier or one of the many Old Town acclaimed eateries just steps away. This is life at Robinson Landing.

You’ll never have to travel far to pick up a last minute gift or browse the latest trends with countless charming Old Town shops just around the corner. Art enthusiasts will love spending an afternoon at The Torpedo Factory Art Center. This Alexandria landmark is home to the nation’s largest collection of working-artists’ open studios under one roof, offering a variety of works from paintings to sculptures to stained glass and more. And with a new art gallery opening at Robinson Landing, you’ll be able to enjoy a rotating array of curated exhibits as you mingle with neighbors and friends.
Old Town’s restaurants offer everything from fine dining to your favorite ethnic cuisine. However, you may find that your new favorite place to dine doesn’t require a reservation – your private balcony or terrace with sweeping views of the Potomac River or the historic Old Town streets. At Robinson Landing, you always have the option to stay in or go out, but there’s never a reason to go far.

When we heard that one of our Robinson Landing homeowners had founded the ALX Dog Walk to not only raise awareness about sustainable living and reducing plastic use, but also to raise funds to beautify the City of Alexandria and protect its environment, we knew we wanted to learn more and support her efforts. EYA proudly sponsored the 2022 inaugural dog walk, and we’re excited to sponsor the second annual walk on April 29, 2023 in Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria (you can register here). And, we have been so impressed with her work that we wanted to share her story. We hope you enjoy the following Q&A with Robinson Landing resident and ALX Dog Walk executive director, Julie Chapman, to hear about her work and learn how you and your pup can participate in this year's walk!
