EYA is proud to partner with the City of Alexandria to co-host the U.S. Coast Guard Eagle. Also known as “America’s tall ship,” it is the largest tall ship flying the Stars and Stripes and the only square-rigger in U.S. government service. The Eagle will be docked in Old Town at the Robinson Landing pier from Monday, September 4, to Friday, September 8. Public viewing and tours are free. The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle – “America’s tall ship” – will visit Old Town Alexandria September 4 – 8 as part of its East Coast tour. Co-hosted by the City of Alexandria and EYA, the Eagle will dock at the pier adjacent to Robinson Landing.

EYA Foundation proudly donated 26 backpacks filled with school supplies for kids-in-need through the Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP). The children (ages 5-11) are enrolled in MHP’s after-school homework club in Silver Spring. The homework club provides students a structured and supportive atmosphere for completing school assignments.
