At last, the acclaimed eateries of downtown Silver Spring will unite for one delicious week. September 8-13, 2015, participating restaurants will offer two-course lunches for $12 and three-course lunches for $17. The all-new Silver Spring library has set an incredible design standard for libraries around the nation. Designers, county officials and neighbors gathered recently in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the 90,000-square-foot building, which is expected to earn LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
