2024 has been a year of growth, community and innovation at EYA. Our efforts have resulted in positive impacts not just within the company, but more importantly, in the lives of our homeowners and the neighborhoods where we build. From launching our first two all-electric communities to welcoming over 190 homeowners to their new homes and giving back to local communities, our accomplishments this year further EYA's mission to create distinctly special neighborhoods that positively impact individual lives and communities in a socially responsible way. Below are some highlights from the year.

We are pleased to announce that The Laureate has been awarded the 2024 Jack Kemp Award for Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing. Presented by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Terwilliger Center for Housing, this national award recognizes exemplary developments that demonstrate innovation and creativity in expanding affordable and workforce housing opportunities.

EYA's newest neighborhood is opening for pre-construction sales in early 2025. Strathmore View will offer 125 distinctive new brownstones and single-family homes in a park-like setting situated near all your favorite North Bethesda destinations. We are excited to announce that EYA has been named a 2024 Top Workplace by The Washington Post! As a company, we are especially thrilled with this honor as selection is based solely on employee feedback and satisfaction. Feedback is gathered through an anonymous third-party survey in categories ranging from workplace culture and connection to employee development and innovation. We are proud that our employees enjoy the work they do, feel valued and appreciated, and have a strong sense of camaraderie and connection with each other.

On Saturday, we were thrilled to welcome over 450 guests to our Preview Event for The Brownstones at Westbard Square! We had unprecedented interest in the homes and more than 60 prospective buyers were in line the following morning (many who camped out overnight) for a contract appointment. Last month, EYA celebrated the opening of it's 50th new neighborhood in the greater DC area. Four of these new communities opened within the last year, and two more are coming soon in 2024. EYA's Senior Director of Marketing, Ananth Rao, recently shared his reflections on what it means to be a part of a community opening—how EYA team members come together with a sense of commitment and camaraderie, and how special it is to see future neighbors forging friendships as they camp out overnight to be among the first to buy a home in the new community.
