Strategically located just two miles north of the nation's capital and adjacent to Washington Hospital Center, EYA is working with the District of Columbia to design a development plan for McMillan Reservoir. The site, originally constructed in the early 1900's to filter the City's water, was closed by the City in the 80's. Today, the 25-acre site sits vacant and EYA was selected to formulate a plan to transform the site into a vibrant mixed-use community of retail shops, medical office buildings and new homes. EYA selected Trammell Crow to partner on the office buildings, a move which was recently covered in the Washington Post. Final plans for the redevelopment could be sealed as early as this fall. Check back here for updates on EYA and McMillan Reservoir.
