Car Free Day is just around the corner! On Tuesday, September 22nd, park your car and go car free or car-lite by taking an alternative mode of transport such as biking, walking, Metro or carpooling. To participate, take the pledge to go car free or car-lite and you’ll be eligible to win great prizes, including a Capital Bikeshare membership and new Kindle. Giveaways and raffles will also take place on Car Free Day at various locations around the Washington area. On Friday nights through September 4th, enjoy live music, great food, and drinks from the many excellent restaurants onsite. Events are from 6:30 PM - 9 PM and the Town Square is just a short stroll from Rockville Metro Station. Tonight's performance is blues & soul by the Sandra Dean band.
