From graveyard tours to trick-or-treat shopping, there’s something for Halloween enthusiasts of all ages, including your four-legged friends - all steps from EYA's new home communities in Alexandria!
Trick or Treat with the Boutiques
Grab your “ghoulfriends” and stop by the Old Town Boutique District on Saturday, October 26th for Trick or Treat with the Boutiques. More than two dozen Old Town boutiques will be handing out special treats from 11 AM – 6 PM. Participating stores include Red Barn Mercantile, Bellacara, The Shoe Hive and Apple Seed.
Ghost and Graveyard Halloween Tour
For a frightfully good time, join Alexandria Colonial Tours for their special Ghost and Graveyard Halloween Tour. Follow an 18th Century costumed guide through the charming streets of historic Old Town as you hear tales of angry ghosts looking for revenge, legends, folklore and unsolved mysteries. The one-hour tour ends with the guide abandoning you in a local graveyard!
Canine Costume Contest
Don’t leave your four-legged friends behind this Halloween. Stop by Jackson 20 on Halloween night for their annual Howl-o-ween canine costume contest! Local pets and their humans will model their finest Halloween attire in this popular pet costume contest.
