Great news for local food lovers! Downtown Silver Spring will be getting new eateries, including Chef Alex Garcia’s AG Kitchen and the fast-casual Gusto Italian Grill.
New York-based Chef Alex Garcia is readying to open his first AG Kitchen location outside of New York in downtown Silver Spring! The restaurant will be located in the former Romano’s Macaroni Grill space facing the mall’s fountain and feature outdoor patio seating. The menu will offer mouth-watering Nuevo Latino cuisine, such as his signature seafood paella, pineapple and pomegranate guacamole, NYC’s Best Cubano and Manhattan Latin Burger. The restaurant is scheduled to open this Spring.
Similar to the Chipotle-style concept, Gusto Italian Grill serves fast, fresh Italian food made with locally-grown, sustainable ingredients in an assembly line set–up. Step up to the counter and order one of their signature Italian roll-ups, pasta bowl or salad bowl and customize it with your favorite ingredients. They also serve gelato Gusto pops, Italian sodas and made in-house breadstix, served fresh and warm. The restaurant is scheduled to open this Summer on Fenton Street, across from Whole Foods.
EYA’s townhomes at Chelsea Heights are just steps from all the downtown Silver Spring restaurants and nightlife. Purchase one of our immediate move-in townhomes and welcome in Summer with your new life within walking distance!
