EYA has teamed up with LiveGreen and RePax sustainable moving supplies to donate a record breaking amount of clothes to Goodwill of Greater Washington. Taking place until April 20th, Fwd: Your Fashion is set to be DC’s largest clothing drive with the goal of collecting 5,000 lbs of clothing.
Simply bring your unwanted clothing, shoes, accessories and linens to one of the drop off locations and place them in the RePax reusable green packing bins. EYA drop off locations include:
EYA’s Bethesda Office: 4800 Hampden Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814 (M-F: 9am to 5pm)
Chancellor’s Row Sales Center: 627 Regent Place NE, Washington, D.C. 20017 (Daily: 11am to 6pm)
Capitol Quarter Sales Center: 1020 4th Street SE, Washington, D.C. 20003 (M-F: 11am to 6pm)
Donating your clothes is one of the most eco-friendly things you can do. Last year alone, Goodwill kept over 17 million pounds of household goods out of DC-area landfills. Start gearing up for Earth Day this month by reclaiming your closet and helping to divert thousands of pounds of waste from area landfills!
